Shipton Bellinger Community Church is an independent, evangelical Christian fellowship that uses the Village Community Centre for various meetings and events.
The origins of the fellowship date back to 1877 when they met in a Chapel, known as ‘The Mission Hall’, on Salisbury Road. In 1995 the Church began to use the Village Centre and changed its name to Community Church to reflect the move to the Village Centre, and the desire to serve the community.
We meet on Sunday Mornings at 10.30am for Family Worship, including Junior Church aged 3 – 14. All our Sunday services are informal, relaxed and open to everyone. The services are led by members of the Church or guest speakers invited from other Churches in the area.
Bible study held on Thursdays 7.30pm in the Village Centre.
The Church is a registered charity and has a child protection policy and practice.
